About the wine:
Margaret River isn't really the world's end but in terms of the Australian landmass it does come pretty close to the edge. Hiding away some three hours south of Perth, the region is awash with natural beauty, enthusiastic surfers and some insanely good wines.
One of the great things about growing grapes there is the even temperature and maritime influence – the vineyards just about make their way into the sea. This means longer, more even ripening periods and results in wines of elegance and purity of fruit. And this Sauvignon Blanc is no different.
The region is well known for its ability to produce premium wine and Sauvignon Blanc is a darling for the wine growers. This World's End has typical Margaret River passionfruit, herbal notes and the cut grass freshness that has been a hallmark for the region. On the palate is more passionfruit, some limey acidity, a little chalky character and a long, juicy finish.
