Tour Itinerary (B = Breakfast, L = Lunch, D = Dinner)

Day One – Hanoi

• Arrive at Hanoi and be picked up from the airport and transported to your hotel. Check in hotel and enjoy the water puppet show in the evening.
   

Day Two – Hanoi City Tour (B, L)

• Pick you up at your hotel at 8am.
• Visit Ho Chi Minh Complex: Completed in 1975 the complex contains Ho Chi Minh's mausoleum, his former stilt-house residence, the Presidential Palace and the Ho Chi Minh museum.
• Visit the Temple of Literature: Originally built as a temple to Confucius, this is the site of Vietnam's first university dating back to 1070.
• Ngoc Son Temple and Hoan Kiem Lake: The Ngoc Son temple is set on a tiny island on the Hoan Kiem Lake, with history dating back to the 13th century. The temple is reached by crossing the Huc Bridge which literally means the 'Place Touched by Morning Sunbeams'.
• One hour cyclo tour through the Old Quarter. Also known as the 36 streets, the Old Quarter is a bustling area of narrow streets home to literally thousands of small businesses, shopkeepers and street vendors, selling everything from bananas to books.
   

Day Three – Hanoi to Hoa Lu to Tam Coc (B, L, D)

• On the way to Hoa Lu, you have good chances to see and enjoy the fresh air of the countryside of Vietnam along the road.
• Arrive in Ninh Binh province and then the guide takes you to visit Hoa Lu, the Ancient Royal capital of Vietnam.
• Continue to reach Tam Coc by bicycle. On the way, tour guide will show you the daily life of the local people and the beautiful sights there.
• Have lunch in luxurious restaurant in Tam Coc. After lunch, take small boats to visit Tam Coc, which is literally known 'three caves'
   

Day Four – Hanoi to Halong Bay (B, L, D)

• Pick up service at your hotel and depart for Ha Long city.
• At Halong city, You will board your Luxury Imperial Cruise, check into your cabin and enjoy first class lunch while you are cruising through thousand amazing islands and islet passing by Stone Dog Islet, Floating fishing Village, Incense Burner Islet, Fighting Cocks Islet and more.
• Visit Surprising Cave (the most beautiful one in Halong Bay).
• Enjoy an hour or more kayaking through slide rock cliffs before swimming (weather permitted).
• Board back the Cruise, take shower and relax on upper deck bar. Enjoy a specially prepared dinner in a romantic atmosphere. Evening activities – enjoy movie night, board games, and squid fishing or relax at leisure.
   

Day Five Halong Bay to Cat Ba Island to Bungalow (B, L, D)

• Breakfast, tea and coffee will be served. Start cruising to visit Van Gia floating village and passing by Halong Pearl Farm.
• Take a local boat to Lan Ha bay and then enjoy a bike ride at Cat Ba national park, to visit Viet Hai village, in the valley of the heart of Cat Ba National Park
• Visit Nam Cat Island where you will have lunch. Enjoy a swim or kayak activities to explore the untouched area in Lan Ha bay.
• Visit Monkey island and then in the afternoon, check in the Deluxe Bungalow on Nam Cat island (Catba Sandy Beach Resort). Settle down for dinner and an overnight stay in bungalow.
   

Day Six Cat Ba Island to Halong Bay to Hanoi (B, L)

• Cakes, fruits, tea and coffee will be served. Continue cruise through Halong Bay.
• Enjoy the cooking course after you pack your things and leave the cabin.
• Sail back Halong pier and take a van back to Hanoi City.

An English-speaking tour guide and entrance fees have been included. Daily breakfast, some lunches and dinners are included as per the six day tour itinerary. This tour schedule allow for you to enjoy plenty of organised activities, while still providing ample opportunity to do some exploring of your own.

Please note that you will be staying in twin share accommodation. Single rooms are available for AUD $556 per person. An additional child (aged 5 to 9) can stay for just 75% of the Deal price, and one child under the age of five can stay in existing accommodation at no extra cost.
