While November may be the time for events such as the Melbourne Cup and Movember, what really gets us excited here at OurDeal is knowing it’s also the start of turtle watching season!

Today's Deal is giving two people the opportunity to witness this annual natural phenomenon as part of the Great Sandy Straits Tour. On your first day the two of you will head out for a Sunset Cruise with the award-winning Freedom Whale Watch & Charters from Marina Hervey Bay.

Bound for Fraser Island, the cruise will provide a historic commentary and give you the chance to see local marine wildlife such as loggerhead turtles, dugongs, indo pacific and bottlenose dolphins. Enjoy canapés and a welcome glass of bubbly when you come on board plus an exclusive welcome pack.

When you return to shore, head to the beautiful 4.5 star Ramada Hervey Bay. Relax and recharge with an overnight stay in a Studio featuring a king size bed (can be converted into two single beds), bathroom with luxurious new bath sheets, Crabtree & Evelyn toiletries and furnished balcony.

An additional two people may stay on supplied bedding for an extra $25 per person, per night. Alternatively, two people may stay in another Studio for an extra $130 per night. This price does not include tour activities, just Ramada Hervey Bay accommodation.

Make your own way the next morning to the 4 star Burnett Riverside Motel in Bundeberg. The trip is approximately 1.5 hours and a complimentary $20 fuel voucher has been included to ensure you have a smooth drive between accommodations.

In the evening, the two of you will visit the Turtle Rookery Information Centre for a night tour on Mon Repos Bargara Beach, the largest and most accessible mainland turtle rookery in the South Pacific. Over 40,000 people participate in the turtle tour each year.

Tours run seven days a week from 6:45pm for a 7pm departure and return at approximately 9.30pm.

After the tour, return to Burnett Riverside Motel where you will spend the night in a Standard Room containing a queen size bed, ensuite, LCD TV with AUSTAR, tea and coffee making facilities, mini bar, balcony/opening window. During your stay in Bundeburg, OurDeal members will also receive discounted entry to the Bundaberg Rum Store and Bundy Belle River Cruise. The international Ramada Hervey Bay hotel features 91 studio rooms, one bedroom and two bedroom apartments, as well as an outdoor heated swimming pool & spa and fitness room. The onsite restaurant and bar, Smokey Joe's, is open for breakfast and dinner with live entertainment Thursday through to Saturday nights. Dry cleaning, room service and secure underground and off-road parking are available to all guests.

The Burnett Riverside Motel is located on the banks of the tranquil Burnett River, which is in the heart of the CBD. It is just a few minutes' walk to major department stores, boutique shopping and commercial district.
