On your first visit an impression of your teeth will be taken to create two Custom Whitening Trays (value $395). This tray is designed to fit perfectly in your mouth so that whitening liquid will not overspill onto your gums and cause sensitivity and burning.

On your second visit you'll receive your initial whitening treatment using TGA approved Whitening Bleach that is up to the Dental Board of Australia's standards (35% Carbonate Peroxide).

You'll also receive an Oral Hygiene Pack including a toothbrush, toothpaste, floss, mouthwash, brochure and carry bag to keep those pearly whites healthy too!

In order to achieve the best results, it is recommended that you undergo a professional scale and clean before your bleaching appointment. If you have any cavities or broken teeth you need to get these filled prior, as teeth will become sensitive or in severe cases you'll end up in the deep-end, dentistry wise!

If you have sensitivity before bleaching, you may be asked to use Tooth Mousse for 1-2 weeks before bleaching. If you are under 18 years of age you may be refused bleaching as young teeth are more prone to severe sensitivity after bleaching.

Mount Gravatt Dental Centre reserves the right to refuse bleaching on the first appointment if they find copious amounts of calculus, stains, broken teeth, cavities, swollen gums, periodontal disease, or plain poor oral hygiene. These problems must be corrected before bleaching.

After bleaching, teeth can fully or partially reverse to their original shade due to many factors such as diet (curry, coloured foods), poor oral hygiene, drinking habits (eg red wine, cola), smoking and normal ageing of teeth.

Some people can experience sensitivity during bleaching due to external factors such as
