Choose to depart on your tour on either 8 March 2013, 26 April 2013, 7 June 2013 or 16 August 2013. Please note, if a passenger flight arrival time is different to that of the group, the passenger will need to make his/her own way from airport to the hotel.

Itinerary

DAY 1: Australia - Shanghai
Depart from Melbourne for Shanghai via Guangzhou. On arrival in Shanghai, you will be greeted by professional tour guide and transferred to the Courtyard by Marriott Shanghai Hotel or Howard Johnson Plaza.

DAY 2: Shanghai - Suzhou (B, L, D)
Your first visit will be to The Bund where you will see standing dozens of various Western style buildings known as the "Thousands style Building Expo Group". You will then visit Nanjing Road or "Chinese 1st Commercial Street" as it is better known . After lunch, depart by coach to Suzhou. On arrival, you will visit Qilishantang and then spend the night at the Grand Metro Park Hotel.

DAY 3: Suzhou – Wuxi (B, L, D)
Enjoy one of the most beautiful gardens in China city, Lingering Garden, with its corridors, ancient walls, buildings, rockeries, ponds and flowers. You will also visit the largest silk factory in the country to discover the mysterious processing of silk. After lunch, depart by coach to Wuxi and visit the Xinhua Garden and Clay-Teapot Museum. Accommodation will be provided at either the Radisson Hotel or Landison Plaza Wuxi.

DAY 4: Wuxi - Nanjing (B, L, D)
After breakfast, visit Yuantouzhu Island which is the best place for viewing scenery of
Taihu Lake. You will also visit The Pearls Museum. After lunch, you will depart by coach to Nanjing and visit Confucius Temple and Qinhuai River on arrival. Stay overnight at the Hotel Jinling Riverside Conference Hotel.

DAY 5: Nanjing - Hangzhou (B, L, D)
Visit the Xuanwu Lake and the Jade Museum. After lunch drive to Hangzhou, another beautiful city traditionally known as the 'Paradise of Heaven'. Admission to the Impression West Lake Night Show is also included. Stay the night at the Hangzhou Ramada Hotel or White Horse Lake Jianguo Hangzhou.

DAY 6: Hangzhou - Shanghai (B, L, D)
Tour the West Lake, also known as 'The Paradise on the Earth'. It is surrounded by several beautiful smaller lakes and mountains, with scenery that changes dramatically during different seasons. You will then move on to visit the Dragon Well Tea plantation. After lunch, take the bus to Shanghai and visit old China Town. Admission to Shanghai Circus ERA Show is also included. Spend your last night at the Courtyard by Marriott Shanghai Hotel.

DAY 7: Shanghai - Australia (B)
After breakfast, you will be transferred to the airport for your return flight back to Melbourne via Guangzhou.
